Procedure:
To merge two ePost accounts, you must manually transfer your documents from the old account to the new one. Once the transfer is completed, you can delete the account you no longer wish to use.
Important: If you have an ePost account linked to a partner account, we recommend keeping this account. The reason is that deleting the account only removes the ePost account, but the partner account and the digital mailbox will still remain active.
Steps:
1. Log in to the account you wish to delete using the browser at ePost (app.epost.ch).
2. Go to "storage"
3. Click the document export button at the top right (Note: Documents in the trash will not be exported!).
4. Enter your email address and a password for the export.
5. Go to your email inbox and download the export.
6. Open the export folder and delete the following files:
a. The "audit…zip" file
b. All .tsr and .json files
Note: There may also be documents in subfolders! Carefully check all folders and subfolders and delete the files listed above.
7. Recompress the folder (right-click the folder and select "Compress").
8. Log back into ePost via the browser (app.epost.ch) with the account you want to keep.
9. Scroll down and select "Upload ZIP file here."
10. Select the compressed file from your local storage and upload it.
11. Once the import is complete, you will find the imported documents in a new folder in "storage."
12. After the successful import, you can delete the account you no longer need.
13. Take your phone and log in to the ePost Mobile App with the account you want to delete.
14. Go to "Profile," then to "Settings," and select "Delete Account." Follow the instructions for deleting your account.
15. After completing the deletion, you will have successfully migrated your data and only have one ePost account left.
