What does it mean to link an existing account with ePost?
When you register with ePost using an email address already associated with one of our partners, your ePost account and the partner account are automatically linked. This does not create a new digital mailbox. Instead, the existing mailbox gains full ePost functionality, and both accounts access the same mailbox.
Important information about linking:
-
A shared mailbox: The linking provides the same digital mailbox in both accounts – on ePost and with the partner. Any changes, such as deleting, moving, or copying documents and creating folders, are synchronized across both accounts.
-
Access to documents: Documents you receive through the partner are visible in both accounts – in ePost and the partner account. You can choose in which account you want to view the documents. Depending on the partner, you may also find them in the ePost "eFolder" under Storage & Services.
-
Additional features: The ePost app allows you to receive digital letters from other ePost senders centrally in the same mailbox. There is also an optional Scanning Service, allowing you to scan and digitally send physical mail into the ePost app.
-
Unlinking: The link can only be removed by deleting the ePost account. If you need two separate mailboxes, register with ePost using a different email address.
