Setting up the connection
Invoices can easily be transferred from the ePost app to the PostFinance app. No configuration or installation is required. You just need to make sure that you have set up both apps on your mobile.
Download the PostFinance app from the Google Play Store or App Store, if you have not already installed it. Check that you are on the latest version.
Send and pay your first bill
1. You start in the ePost app.
2. Click on the "Pay now" button on an invoice to get to the "Add bank account" option. There you can select "PostFinance".
3. If you have not yet installed the PostFinance app, switch to the Google Play Store/App Store and do it now from there.
4. If you have already installed the PostFinance app on this mobile device, click on the "Continue" button to activate PostFinance as a payment method.
5. Now you can click on the green tick at the bottom right, to send the invoice to PostFinance.
6. You will now automatically switch to the PostFinance app and can check the transmitted payment data there. You can for example, check whether the correct debit account has been selected. You can complete the payment process by clicking on "Execute".
7. After the selection, the file processing takes place, this must be confirmed with "next". To process another invoice or document, open the ePost app again.
Transmitting and paying bills
- You can send an invoice to the PostFinance app using the "Send invoice to PostFinance" function in the ePost app.
- You will now automatically switch to the PostFinance app and can check the transmitted payment data there. You can for example, check whether the correct debit account has been selected.
- You can complete the payment process by clicking on "Execute".
- After the selection, the file processing takes place, this must be confirmed with "Continue".
To process another invoice or document, open the ePost app again.
