- Personal data
In order to use ePost to its full extent, the user enters personal data in the application. This data is used for comparison in the case of a digital delivery and for further processing via ePost and is saved exclusively at KLARA in Switzerland. User data used to communicate with the user may also be saved abroad. In his profile, the customer always has an overview of which of his data has been saved. The customer has the possibility to remove, change or add data from his profile at any time.
Personal data is never passed on to service partners and/or senders without the user's consent.
- Consignment data
Using ePost, data on items received is saved. The data includes the received file, as well as associated metadata. The data is processed exclusively for the fulfilment of the service and is processed exclusively in Switzerland by adhering to the highest security standards and in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP).
- App usage data
To optimising products, offers and operations, ePost (KLARA) uses tracking applications in the ePost app which evaluate customer behaviour anonymously. It is not possible to draw conclusions about an individual user.
